Lynn Bonar
Owner, Operator, Secretary, Riding Master

Lynn graduated top in her class from Meredith Manor School of Horsemanship with the title of Riding Master. She won gold, silver and bronze medals for the United States Dressage Federation. She was a judge for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia as well as a Judge at the World Equestrian Games in both 2010 and 2018. Along with being on the being a member of The Ohio State University horse committee and judge committee for over 20 years, she was an advisor for 4-H for 16 years in both Knox and Morrow Counties. After becoming tired of the international travel and importation of champion bloodline horses she decided to transition her facility from a training and boarding facility into an Equine Therapy facility in order to not only share her knowledge, experience and love for horses with others, but aid and help them navigate through the struggles of life.
Ann Mcelroy
Masters in Education (MEd)
President

Ann serves as the President on the board of directors. Receiving a masters degree in education she has spent much of her life helping others learn, grow and evolve. Having spent many years working with individuals with special needs and developmental disabilities she has a first-hand understanding of how nontraditional forms of therapy can be useful and beneficial for clients overall success.
Kara Snyder
Masters Social Work
Licensed Independent Social Worker - Supervisor (LISW-S)

Kara Snyder received her Bachelor's from Miami University and her Master's from The Ohio State University. Kara works for Ohio Health and has previous experience in providing supportive services for Kiddos in foster care and juveniles receiving services in the behavioral health system.
Joanna Manning
Treasurer, Riding Instructor

Joanna serves as the treasurer on the Board of Directors. She studied equine and animal science at The University of Findlay and The Ohio State University. She is currently a barn manager at a private horse farm. Joanna assists with the care of the horses and as a riding instructor for our programs.
Samuel Patterson
AAS (Social and Human Services)
Vice President, Fundraising Coordinator, Riding Instructor, Facility/Animal Care Coordinator, Community Outreach Specialist

Samuel graduated with an associate's degree in social and human services from Columbus State Community College. Samuel has experience in the fields of child welfare, substance use disorder counseling, and mental health counseling and supportive services. After experiencing the benefits of equine therapy first-hand he decided to integrate his skills and focus solely on providing equine therapy to individuals with the hope that they will get the same benefits he did. Along with being Vice President he is in charge of fundraising along with providing rider guided therapy sessions and community outreach. Samuel also provides animal and facility care for day-to-day operations.
